A Forrest's Mind

  My Friend, You Are Lonely I had a hard time growing up because I had a decent life, but there were many circumstances where I felt immense loneliness and sadness but couldn't admit these feelings to anyone because I felt selfish and ungrateful. I kept my mouth shut about the things I really felt often and so I felt like I was stuck in my mind. This poem is a conversation between me and a friend of mine where I finally realized what it felt like to feel loved and wanted. In the poem, the character is just speaking out into the forest when a fairy comes and befriends them. I fell as if the friends I have now ae magical beings like fairies because of how perfect they were for me. That's all from me, Forrest.
